A burlesque look is made of tassel pasties, feather fans and boas, elbow-length satin gloves, a corset with garter belt, back-seam stockings and high heels; feathered headpieces, pearl strings and sparkling crystals finish it. Feather fans (ostrich, 40–60 cm) suit dance and photo shoots, boas (1.8–2 m) work as a scarf. Burlesque sets with several accessories are a convenient start for a themed party, a wedding evening or a private dance for a partner. Choice and care. Pick one colour accent (red, black, gold) and combine with a black base; tassel pasties are the essential element. Shake out feathers and store them dry, hand wash satin, remove crystals before showering. Frequently asked questions. Where to start a burlesque look?
